UNBELIEVABLE!

The neiderdorf in Zurich...about 5pm friday night...I'm getting ready to find a pitch...saw a good one by a sporting goods store that was open...nobody there...good...I get closer...I thought...what the heck...I'll go inside...good gravy....there's a girl busker hiding in there talking with the fellas...I about fell over laughing...unbelievable!

This is a day off the banana boat...didn't know how anything worked in Europe.

Then a night later, I was standing at a pitch with my guitar still in the case and this indian woman comes up, unpacks her harp, sits down and starts playing it...with total disreguard for me standing there...I just thought...unbelievable!

I came back just as the locals were throwing water on her because that's what they do when it's 'after hours'...I was amazed and too busy freaking...unbelievable!

Then I was told you couldn't play in the main platz on Sunday...French girl fell into my guitar case...they tried to throw water on me, too, because it was still 'after hours' but I didn't know...lucky me was across the street...just kept going...made a little that night...

So of course, now it's Sunday and I thought the heck with it...I'm broke in a foreign land...this is nuts...I'm going to go play the main platz on a Sunday anyway.

So I did...90 minutes of howling...and they rewarded me with over $120 and I went wild...the most I'd ever made at that point.

I just thought...unbelievable!
