I had hoped to get out more, but my work schedule wouldn't allow it. I did make the Lawrence Buskerfest. It was great. Lawrence, KS is a cool town. They are busker friendly. I did get booted out of an art show in Kansas City this summer. It was the first time in a decade.
Won't be back there next year. I did some performing at the River Market in downtown KC. Did decently, but the market...

For centuries, Indian yogis have claimed to have mastered the powers of levitation. In reality, they've simply managed to tap into fundamental design principles and basic physics. The optical illusion results in a stunning presentation of levitation.

A few weeks ago, Michael Shermer, founder of Skeptic Magazine and the Skeptics Society, posted a photo on his Twitter account resulting in this world-wide revelation of clever busking feats.

While the installation art of the single guru floating has already been seen, we now have not one but two gurus on display without the need for any installation....

The city has posted a new "Quiet Zone" sign there and have been ticketing performers - even handcuffing one opera singer and taking him away.

Parks Department spokeswoman Vickie Karp said the musicians are the problem and have "completely blocked the stairs. The public wants quiet zones and have repeatedly requested quiet places for passive enjoyment of the park."

The food court and bar will feature $8 to $10 beers, $8 glasses of wine, and $7 to $9 sandwiches.

The policy was created after complaints about pesky charity collectors on Military Rd at Mosman Junction and Spit Junction.

However, not everyone in the district feels the need for protection from such undesirables. Shirley Jenkins, a former councillor who voted against the ban, said: "We're starting to take the zest out of life.

"I don't know how many buskers we have in Mosman but I enjoy those around Circular Quay and the thing is that Mosman is boring if we don't have some of these things."

Councils raise $12 million annually in petty fines for...
